Charla Nash, the Connecticut woman who was attacked by her friend’s 200-pound chimpanzee last February, revealed her horribly disfigured face earlier today on The Oprah Winfrey Show!!
Charla was critically injured on Feb. 16th when a chimpanzee owned by her friend, Sandra Herold, attacked her, ripping off her eyelids, nose and lips – Charla is now blind and has to eat through a straw, but the 55-year-old mother says she isn’t angry or in pain…
“I don’t even think about it… And there’s no time for that anyways because I need to heal, you know, not look backwards. I want to get healthy… I don’t want to wake up with nightmares.”
Police shot and killed the animal.
