Dear Zane,

I am so bitter, hurt, mortified, humiliated, and confused. I have been married to my husband for 26 years. We have shared so many good times together, and I felt we were soul mates. We had the best relationship a couple could ever have; at least that’s what I thought. We have a 21 year old daughter attending college, and I have to admit, she’s the best daughter a mom could have.
At any rate, my bitterness does not seem to cease. I am so hurt. It all started in December of 09. I had a small gathering at my home and simply invited a few of our closest friends. I find out eight months later in August 2010, three days from my 26th wedding anniversary, that one of our friends invited my husband to a “F*ck Hook-Up.” The bit*h gave him her number so that he could give her a call! Granted he attempted to f*ck her before but the sh*t didn’t work, meaning his scandalous ass shouldn’t have been over there. Like a f*cking idiot, he took the number. Well what would this tell any bit*h but, “I’m down, literally speaking!” Now mind you, I’ve/we’ve been friends with this bit*h for over 27 years and she was even a bridesmaid in OUR wedding! I wish I could say this was the worst that happened, but of course, why would I be writing you for advice, right?
I always wondered why she would dodge my calls or never return my messages. Now I know. If you’re f*cking someone’s husband, why would you? I finally got a hold of her (before I found out that she was f*cking my husband) so that we could have co*ktails and just catch up. When we met, the mood wasn’t quite the same. My husband called me while we were having co*ktails and asked how I was, as he always did. He even asked me to tell her hello. When I told her that he said hello, her response was so cold, it made the hairs on my arms rise. This triggered me in some way, but I wasn’t sure as to why at that time.
He says he never called her, but she sure as hell called him, and his trifling ass proceeded to go to her home while her husband was away out of town working, not once but multiple times! He even admitted they exchanged oral favors. By the way, I was informed that he was attending union meetings. Seems the meeting agendas got more advantageous by the minute!
